Dear Sarah and Boys, I flew from Germany to Philadelphia to meet with a friend who said it would be a good idea to attend WXPN Canmden NJ Festival. Well, I just can't describe on how much I really enjoyed the 3 days. My main artist - the reason for considering going to the Festival - Aimee Mann was good and even a bit better than the last years. I just couldn't believe, how many talented and brilliant musicians played! Mr. Robert Cray and you had been the best over the 3 days. Your energy and brilliant ensemble as a band made the difference. Sarah - your voice is very special and you are playing your Fender in a charming and excellent way. After your set I went straight to the tent and got your CD " The Stars Are Out". Same as during your set I most enjoy "Symphony". What a great song this is. Your voice is so beautiful... I'd like to wish you all the best for your future career and even if not most likely at this stage - maybe I/we'll have the honour and joy to see and her you guys playing Europe one day. my first concert of sara borges and the broken singles was at blueberry hill in the duckroom in St. Louis, Mo for Twangfest 13, they shared the stage with Jon Hardy and the Public and one more band i wish i could remember ( haha). I never heard of then before. But, there was one woman in the audience who told me that they were nothing short of dynamic. Well.. by golly she was right :) I LOVE the music and wont forget that evening. Sara is a sweet lady and the guys are kind. good music, good people, what more could you ask for? lol Can't wait for them to come back to Saint Louis and rock the night away!

I just got back home from your Club Passim show. Holy crap was that awesome! Your friends really brought down the house in that second set, and not just on the Van Halen cover. ;)
I saw you guys with John Doe & the Sadies (where Sarah signed my hat! m/), and my friend and I both agreed that tonight's show was even better. Lyle in particular was really rockin' out on that guitar tonight.

Was driving in rural indiana at 3:00 am and heard a song played on a am radio show out of Chicago and was blown away. I've played guitar all my life (50 years old now) and have lost interest in most new music except Brad Paisely, Liz Phair and Earl Scruggs (just cause I'm learning banjo), but your sound if dead on, Great vocals, guitar and slide and bass licks. I'm off to pick up your CD's and can't wait to listen. At a time I thought I had nothing else to listen to, there you are. Glad you came back to Kentucky...last time you were here I was in Chicago seeing Buddy Guy and Carlos Johnson.
I first caught you all on a local raido station 89.7 WNKU and went to buy you album right then and no one knew who you were...I was persistant and found a copy at my favorite "vynal" shop. Been a fan from then on. Love the new song... My wife Jen likes"Come Back To Me" and "Belle of the Bar".
I find it refreshing to put on an album and listen to it all the way through to the end and keep hearing something new every time. Music an amazing journey and I am thankful for the ride. Have a great show and keep rockin' my friends.
